Samaki – House no. 1

$ 110.00

This series illustrates the daily lives of the people in Phnom Penh on their balconies. They’re part of the Samaki exhibition at the Hiroshima House that runs until the end of March 2024.

Each house can be stacked or placed next to each other in order to create your own apartment block. I’ll periodically add new shophouse illustrations to this collection, so it’ll be like a building that keeps on expanding, just like today’s Phnom Penh.

– Limited edition of 50
– Signed and numbered
– 70% will be donated to the kids studying at Hiroshima House.
– Giclée quality 269 gr/m2 paper

What is the Hiroshima House?
Today, the Hiroshima House serves as a sanctuary for approximately 65 children, including those living on the streets, providing them with a nurturing environment for learning and growth. It stands as a symbol of hope, unity, and resilience, bringing together the shared journeys of Hiroshima and Cambodia.⁣
